Their primary role is to provide first-line supervision to EMTs and paramedics in the field. Typically, they are responsible for daily schedules, assignment of personnel to units, assuring adequate resources and response to significant emergencies, and serving as initial incident commander for smaller emergencies. They work within daily operations in the field and/or at station in order to ensure daily operations are running smoothly and provide primary supervisory support to staff for field operations.

Amy Bojo has served with Pasquotank County Emergency Medical Services since 2018 after earning her EMT certification in 2017.

Amy obtained her Paramedic certification in 2021 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2023. Amy has completed EMS Officer I and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training.

​

As a Lieutenant, Amy leads with consistency, fairness, and clear expectations while remaining supportive of her crew. She values accountability, open communication, and leading by example in the field.

Amy is committed to maintaining high professional standards, mentoring developing providers, and serving both her team and the Pasquotank County community.

Dustin Winslow, has been serving with Pasquotank County EMS since August of 2014. He received his EMT Basic in April of 2014, Intermediate in 2016 and Paramedic in November of 2021.

 

He obtained his National Registry Paramedic in April of 2022. Dustin is also a Certified Tactical Medic and CPR Instructor.

 

He has the passion for helping people, as well as teaching and mentoring the future of EMS. He looks forward to continuing his career and education as far as he can possibly take it, as well as watching this system and its technicians grow.

Jessica came to Pasquotank County as a seasoned paramedic with a strong background in emergency medical services. She began her EMS career in 2014 as an EMT-B, advanced to AEMT in 2016, and earned her Paramedic (EMT-P) certification in 2017. She brings a wealth of experience from multiple agencies across northeastern North Carolina.

In 2020, Jessica graduated from College of the Albemarle with an Associate’s degree in Emergency Sciences as a paramedic. This past year, she successfully obtained her National Registry Paramedic certification and holds both EMS Officer I and EMS Officer Field Training Officer (FTO) credentials.

Jessica is passionate about serving others and supporting the growth and success of her teammates. Known for her professionalism, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever needed, she leads with integrity, compassion, and respect for both patients and colleagues.
